Depart from port of Marmaris and drive to Dalyan for an excellent experience in Dalyan. Here you will board your kayik (a local wooden boat with diesel motor) and travel to Caunos, an ancient site on the waters of the lake of Dalyan. Dock at the pier of ancient Caunos and disembark for a tour of the fascinating Hellenistic settlement that lies there. Explore the very well – preserved theater, as well as the impressive Byzantine Basilica. After your tour of Caunos, return to your kayik for the ride back to Dalyan and to Marmaris Port.
